Sweet 16!

This weekend has been a 'sweet' time, celebrating Meg's 16th birthday. We played it low-key and went to Downtown Disney with Kaulene & the boys. Annabelle & Daddy stayed home.
On Saturday morning, the girls spent most of the morning giggling in the room. Later, after Kaulene left, Anna came over the two girls got ready for homecoming.
We dropped Anna off at her home.

Then we went to the Lakefront to take pics with Kaulene. My little worry-wart, was stressing because everyone was running late. It all worked out.

Boys & Annabelle had fun playing at the playground.

Meg got home at 11:30.  They went to IHOP first 😄
Sunday morning we picked Anna back up and headed to Animal Kingdom. The day was perfect. Not too hot/cold. We went on some rides and saw Lion King performance.

After lunch we met Daddy & kids at All-Star Movies to check in. Only the boys went into the pool. Anna & I forgot our bathing suits 😞
Annabelle discovered leaves!

Soon after we headed to Hollywood Studios. We first linked our new bands to Fast Pass+, then went to the animation class. It is my favorite spot. The girls went to Tower of Terror while I read on my phone. Then we stayed for the Fantastic show. It was a perfect night.

On Monday I took off(teacher work-day) and we had breakfast at Grand Floridian Cafe.

Then headed to Epcot. This was just a nice day! No stress, no agenda, just walked around the countries so the girls could get stamps on their 'bear fan '. For the first time, I stopped at a few countries and enjoyed Epcot's Food & Wine festival. I ate from Ireland, Belgium and Moracco (of course)!
Our fast pass bracelets weren't set up for cast members, so we had to wait until late to get onto Soarin.
Just a wonderful few days celebrating my amazing daughter!

Pampered Chef Cooking Club

This month was my first official cooking club.  Only 1/2 of the ladies could come because they were out of town.  However, it was a great success.  I was so excited that almost all of the ingredients and products were already sent out before lunch! Okay, I was definitely excited!!!

Our menu: BBQ Bacon-Stuffed meatloaf, Roasted Vegetables and Microwave Rocky Road Brownie.  As an appetizer, I made Moroccan Hummus Cups.  Everything was so good that there was very little even left over.  (which means, I'll have to remember to double when everyone shows up!)
